Just before Joey joined the group, replacing Ron Griffiths - and The Iveys became Badfinger - they recorded "Come And Get It" for Apple in 1969.

WELL ...

Quite a few months ago, after finding out the record had sold over 1,250,000 worldwide - Ron Griffiths finally contacted Garth Teasdale at Apple Corps.

After a lot of research, he contacted Ron, and the estates of Peter, Tom and Mike with the wonderful news that they were to be awarded a gold disc for "Come And Get It" - a delay of over 55 years!!

Well done Ron YJB ...

Badfinger was always a favourite band of mine, so when I was invited to sing on Joey Molland’s 2020 album, ‘Be True To Yourself’ and when he also chose one of my photographs for the album cover, I was especially honoured.

Sadly, he passed away over the weekend. 😢
