According to the BBC weather, dry tomorrow, then rain until the 22nd, so I would imagine, the next few weeks the grass will be growing pretty fast.Lack of rain (until 4pm today).
I'm definitely going to keep on top of it now.

If you pop round for a cup of tea I'm sure that he will give you a tour...Next grass cut, looks like start of May with the forthcoming Weather, one thing I’m curious about is the size of ECB garden, It’s all cut, cut, cut, and I’m Mr Lawnmower man, but if your garden is small, it really is no great shakes.
It’s not small, but it’s not like we’ve got acres. We’re in a side plot so we’ve got a fair bit of lawn both front and back. Takes about two hours maybe a bit more to do both.Next grass cut, looks like start of May with the forthcoming Weather, one thing I’m curious about is the size of ECB garden, It’s all cut, cut, cut, and I’m Mr Lawnmower man, but if your garden is small, it really is no great shakes.
Ah right fair size then. It’s not small, but it’s not like we’ve got acres. We’re in a side plot so we’ve got a fair bit of lawn both front and back. Takes about two hours maybe a bit more to do both.

It may seem a lot easier with those petrol/self propelled ones, but I really don't think they give a nice finish, personally i use a flymo. And all jokes aside, hand on heart, the flymo gives a way better finish. When it’s time to change your mower, get a self propelled one with at least a 21 cutting blade. I changed mine a few years ago and this one does the lawn in less than a third of the time the previous one did.
Yes mun SB. You can walk down and up.Shit. Is there more to it than walking up and down? That's all I've ever done.
Except when I had a petrol mower. Then I used to have to jog up and down. It wasn't great.
Currently I've a Ryobi battery mower. The batteries are shit, the cut - on lowest setting - looks like I've missed bits. It's rubbish.
What I mean is, with a self propelled job you’re more than likely to do longer runs, like walk to the bottom of the garden then back up, where as what i do, is one area at a time. Not sure what the most efficient method is, but reading a bit about mowers earlier, it seems it’s more of the actual mowers fault than the one using it. Poor cutting blades and so on.Shit. Is there more to it than walking up and down? That's all I've ever done.
