A poster on another forum is claiming to have heard that a new investor wants to buy the stadium off the council.

Defies all logic and business sense at this time to me, but has anyone heard anything similar?

It's Trump apparently, wants to turn the stadium into a high end casino. #exclusive 🤫

In July 2018, Swansea City took full ownership of the stadium, after reaching an agreement with Swansea City Council. It was agreed that the Ospreys could continue to share the stadium.

There again just to contradict myself...

Swansea City's stadium, officially named Swansea.com Stadium, is owned by City and County of Swansea Council. However, the stadium is managed under a tripartite agreement between the council, Swansea City Football Club, and the Ospreys rugby team, with the Swansea Stadium Management Company (SSMC) handling day-to-day operations.

OK. Its leased.

Swansea City have finally taken control of the Liberty Stadium.

The club has concluded talks with Swansea Council and the Ospreys by signing a new long-term lease agreement, which means the Swans will take sole control of the Stadium Management Company, and all other stadium matters.
