2 of those 3 initially imoI would get Wales on replace Cullen, Eom for Inoussa and Maybe Franco for Stamenic
I’m still not sure about Yalcouyé…
Just need more people to take their blinkers off, the championship is too physical for him.I've struggled to get a measure on Eom ever since he came but you could well have nailed it there. Always looks vaguely lively, technically decent but lightweight and next to no end product.
100%I would get Wales on replace Cullen, Eom for Inoussa and Maybe Franco for Stamenic
We create zero. The best ‘striker’ in the world would get nowhere. Forget strikers until we actually decide to play in a way that creates any chances. Unless something changes, which I sincerely hope it does, we wouldn’t score before Christmas unless it’s something out of the blue. This is the Boro game all over again so far. Sheehan needs to do some managing now. A second half like that would be wholly unacceptable. With all these busy energetic midfielders it’s imperative that we have a striker for them to work off. Cullen just can not be that player. If Vip can’t do it stick the new boy Stamenic up there
I don't think that's quite fair. He's been poor today, but part of that is that he is too small and is being bullied off the ball. When he turns with space in front of him he's looked dangerous. It's hardly his fault that Cullen can't lead a lineHe's like a dog thats escaped its lead in a park where a game is going on.
Agree cadders, sheehan needs to change it up as more of the same will result in defeat. Get Inoussa on sharpish fyo Eom for startersWatford’s manager outsmarted us first half. Didn’t allow us to play football, correctly sussed our weakness in set-pieces, used the offside trap well. Let’s see if Sheehan can be the smarter manager in the second half. If we are going to have a good season we need to be able to play teams like this.
Of course a striker capable of scoring from the opportunities we have created would help a lot. And one able to stay onside.
