Yep.It’s more competitive because mediocrity comes as standard.
Cabango had an excellent game with one exception - he let the player get the wrong side of him to head it back across goal when they scored..Ooh , he certainly was. Good to see though , think Cabango has really matured of late.
Yes he was especially after he got booked.Noticed Cabango going mad with Key a few times today
A no 10 also helps in getting wingers into the game and would help us attacking wise.I think it may be worth a change around to see if it helps.
Sheehan plays a holding midfielder and two in front. No number 10. And that leads to three options to link back and front - either it goes wide or it gets lumped. Or play is ponderous while we wait for the midfield to move forward.
None of those options really suit us. Our wide players need to have a very precise end product to find the one player up front (and normally they don’t). Or they need to be able to cut in and score themselves. Which normally they don’t. And the lumping it option doesn’t really work when the opposition have a giraffe at the back like today. And the slow option means we invariably hit a wall and lack the creativity to get around it.
The midfielders today are too similar.
I’d try Galbraith at full back (he obviously has the ability to beat players out wide as we saw in injury time today), I’d play Stamenic holding, Franco in front on him and Yalcouye at 10 (or Yalcouye at 8 and Widell or Cullen at 10).
I’d also be tempted to try Inoussa and Eom as the two wide players as Eom does have the ability to cut in and shoot.
At the moment we really are a bang average mid table team. That’s fine in some ways, but crowds aren’t going to improve. To get some excitement back we have to try something new.
In my opinion, of course.
Well I definitely wouldn’t play Franco over Yalcouye.A no 10 also helps in getting wingers into the game and would help us attacking wise.
Agreed that Galbraith at RB(which would be a shame) but I would have Stamenic and Franco holding with Cullen at no 10.
That may be an option instead of Eom then. I haven’t seen enough of Benson to know.Cutting in and shooting is literally bensons forte. He was the best player in the league by a mile the season they got promoted
That's the interesting thing with football, opinions.Well I definitely wouldn’t play Franco over Yalcouye.
Key I thought was quite poor todayNoticed Cabango going mad with Key a few times today

All well and good reactively shouting at Key but what we are massively missing is a proper skipper who grabs this team and leads us onto the front foot.Ooh , he certainly was. Good to see though , think Cabango has really matured of late.
