• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

How did Adam Idah play when he came on?
Did ok.
Made a good run in behind the defence and Ronald failed to play the pass when a iass to him would have put him through on goal......was an easy pass aswell.

I noticed that he was blowing a bit towards the end with his hands down on his knees when there the ball went out for a throwing.

Both sides made subs which altered the game. A Second was coming for Hull and we did not try hard enough for the third. I can see why, Hull had a good last 15 in terms of creating chances. Overall a good performance but a tough result.
It was an average performance, two shots on target and hardly anything else created. Their keeper never had to make the saves that Vigoroux did.

We sat too deep and if we were more creative going forward then we could have opened them up for a 3rd goal.

Sheehan got the subs wrong. I think he prefers to grind out results instead of allowing attacking players to go out and put the game to bed.
Exactly this, it will be his downfall in the end. On the subject of getting more fans in the stadium, 2 shots on target and nothing else created isn't going to do it, plus game management from the 70th minute plus added time onwards isn't going to appeal to fair weather supporters.

Do think Key looks very suspect leaves to much space for opposition to get in.

His subs probably cost us the game today, but talking about 'his downfall in the end' is a weird take on the manager with the best record for us since Martinez and who has earned more points per game than Cooper, who got us into the playoff positions in both his seasons.

You haven't exactly hidden your irrational dislike of Sheehan, so we can pretty much discount everything you post about him.

I noticed this too. They targeted the channel behind him all game. It was clearly a deliberate tactic. They'd done their homework.

Been doing this since he joined. Tymon was guilty last season doing same as well. But has improved. Key didn't look right after he had the knock.

Key's legs work faster than his football brain at times. Still one of the first names on the sheet though imho.
I've always got a lot of time for him, but he's still got loads to learn about positioning, not switching off etc. I hope Sheehan and his coaching staff drum that into him daily.

I don't dislike Sheehan, i would just rather we played like we did against Plymouth at home last season, where we didn't worry about the opposition , played fast flowing attacking football and created chances. Unfortunately those type of games under him have been very few indeed, and furthermore he may have the best record since Martinez, but his football is certainly not attracting fans back to the stadium.

Wondered where the hell he was when Giles was galloping down our right to cross for Mcburnie's goal.

VIP chasing back with no sign of Key or Ronald was a real head scratcher.
