Yalcouye was bringing what we so desperately need…. Drive!Taking the energy of Yalcouye off and replacing it with Cullen was an idiotic thing to do. Even worse taking of Inoussa who was looking like he had the better of his man working well with Yalcouye sealed our fate. After his goal I’d have subbed Ronald on 75 minutes but it seems he’s the new Grimes
^^ this^^Give this team another month together and they’ll properly cook, as the youngsters say.
Wasn’t expecting much today after most of them have been away on international duty, coupled with they still haven’t had much time together.
I don't dislike Sheehan, i would just rather we played like we did against Plymouth at home last season, where we didn't worry about the opposition , played fast flowing attacking football and created chances. Unfortunately those type of games under him have been very few indeed, and furthermore he may have the best record since Martinez, but his football is certainly not attracting fans back to the stadium.

Stamenic playing makes a difference. I think if he was in there today would have helped.Give this team another month together and they’ll properly cook, as the youngsters say.

No need to apologise, didn't think you were grumpy at all. Hope you have an enjoyable evening.I will hold my hands up and say I was very grumpy in the immediate aftermath of the game, so apologies for the bitchy tone of my post to you.
I can see your point about the style of football and hopefully it's something that will come as the players gel, given there were a lot of changes in the squad over the summer. We see glimpses, but that's all it's been so far.
I was very hard on Cooper because of how boring his football was to watch (Sheehan's football so far is way better to watch than Cooper's), but I'm probably a little more pragmatic now after the utter dross served up by his successors.
I was fed up at the end because I just thought we handed them an invitation to take the game at 2-1 when we should have looked to sew it up. And they took it, as our luck didn’t hold. As long as we are not doing that as a common tactic, it’s promising. I agree with NJ. The team will improve from here. I thought Yalcouye showed real glimpses of the attacking talent we need. Those turns and runs at players in the centre terrify defences. Also as Daps said, Stamenic will help us boss games. Just need more intent to score goals and keep on the gas when a goal ahead.I will hold my hands up and say I was very grumpy in the immediate aftermath of the game, so apologies for the bitchy tone of my post to you.
