ppMajority of the fanbase understand this is a squad very much in a transitional space.

Only a few fanatics, thankfully.
We were in transisfional spaces under Martinez Rodgers and Luadrup but we still were successful.

What is weong with questioning the manager?
Im not swayes by rhe results but what I sew of how we are set up subs etc.

Williams ,Coopers and Rusty all had critics so why not Sheehan?
Some are blaming his assistants yet last season Williams alone was singled out.
During the clise seaaon when many where fawning over our summer signings and predicting at leat a play off place I stayed on both forums we will need to see how the new players adapt....so yes I recognise transistion but Sheehan has been with us for 2 seasons...had most of the players available for preaeason,so just Stamenic and Youlake late arrivals...that said many are questiining his decisions which have nithing to do with a transiton just basxic managemwbt

We should remember that people will have a lot of different reasons for viewing things critically. For some it’ll be stylistic but it isn’t the case that every Sheehan sceptic is a Russell Martin/Swansea Way devotee (there’s nothing wrong with that either)

Fed up stating the obvious. It’s seven games in to a brand new season.

I wasnt a Martin fan...and Im not criticsing his style just his decision making....which has impacted on results

We have been robbed this season of 3 points by inept officiating. 1 at Birmingham and 2 against Millwall and we haven’t had those back yet in the old ‘even out over the season’ saying. That would have seen us 5th, and don’t think anyone would be complaining or questioning then.

We would still have the usual suspect moaning aren’t top

My assessment and criticism is not based on our league position although I recognise the frustrations of many who believe given our businesses in the window we shiukd be achieving more....given what Sheehan achieved last seasin with the squad availavle which has been much improved....but my assesment is based on his tactics subs and game management to date....yes we have been victims if some inept officiating but the Watford and Hull results and even the Brum results are contributale to selectoon and tactics. Brum we settlednfor the nil nil and set out our stall whilst Chris Davies went for the win he brought on some height and yet again we conceded a goal in added time at the death....

What he said.. championship games are invariably tight.. and we have been on the wnd of 2 decisions that are not even marginal and a couple more marginal ones that might have gone our way as well.
We need to be more consistent in games as posters above have said - but i think something really good is building - and one day soon someone is going to get a right spanking

What is your acceptable number of games, before you join the doubters.
It’s not just number of games it’s also position, if we’re dropping into the danger zone and we play badly in games, everyone would be on board, if we’re mid table and playing decent football then not so much.

Didn’t Alex Ferguson struggle his first season at Man Utd?

How many people said Vigs is useless and get rid, Now of course they have shifted to Idah and Key.

A lot of fans seem to want instant success, they somehow think a snap of the fingers can see the team winning. Real life is not as easy I’m afraid, we are not Liverpool or Man City, we have who we have and we should give it a fair amount of time before making an opinion.

Some though make instant opinions and stick with it no matter what.
