That final was absolutely shocking made no attempt to win the game, didn’t help himself in the end unfortunately.
From minute 1 of that final, you could tell we weren’t going to win it. I actually felt bad for Brentford, the biggest moment in their recent history and they couldn’t bring a full cohort to Wembley because of the pandemic.

We battered Reading in the first half of our previous playoff final, only for them to come out in the second half and go for it, resulting in them pulling 2 back, hitting the post, Monk's crucial block, etc. While we went down 2-0 in the first half to Brentford and did absolutely nothing to try and pull the game back.

I remember that goal. That was special!

Darran Pratley's goal against Notts Forest (from the opposition side of the halfway) in 2011 play-off semi finals was a great, controlled goal that I'll never forget.

The best thing about Pratley's goal was the circumstances. The control on it considering he hit it in stride was impressive. Arguably the other two goals in that game were just as good, with Britton's sweet strike from outside the area that gave Camp no chance and Dobbie's lovely run and shot for the second.

It's a shame the art of long range goals (or attempts of) seem to have been placed on a permanent back-burner.

I don’t get the Pratley goal love in. The game was won there was no time left, no brainer hit and hope. I thought Leon’s goal was the best of the night

Under extreme pressure in the circumstances, crowd on edge of their seats in panic, hits it with composure when also being closed down heavily by opposition players. He placed that perfectly from that distance and angle. Plenty of players would have missed that.

I haven’t read that any of the backroom staff have left - the club statement only says Sheehan

I would guess Margetson, O’Leary will stay on. Someone like Hellberg would bring his assistant and possibly another coach
Why should O'Leary stay? I mean apart from being an ex. What does he do?

Our performance that day was so shockingly pathetic that I swear the game was rigged
