S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City vs Oxford United | Saturday 6th December 2025 | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

Hopefully our commercial department comes up with an offer to fill the ground and maximise our support. We are clearly plummeting to sub 10k home support.
Yeah something like 50 notes in your hand and free entry of you come watch us, if not we'll throw in a free Greggs to sweeten the deal.

Does anyone think having 2 stuck in the mud centre halves doesn't help things. They both dont like bringing the ball out of the defence which just means the opposition can squeeze our midfield to a point that space is hard to come by. Would like to see casey given a chance.

I said a few weeks ago that Burgess was a better defender than Darling but we do definitely miss Harry's ability to carry the ball out from the back and get involved in attacks. That's definitely impacting our ability to build attacks from the back.

Burgess has shocked me with how average he has been at passing and I wonder if because Ipswich played him with two other central defenders if he had more space and time than he does with us. No wonder they were relegated easily with him playing regularly at the top level.

Can't see why we can't start Benson from the start on Saturday. Its difficult coming off the bench when you're chasing the game trying to impress. Surely he can't do any worse than Ronald or Innousa. He deserves a chance the same as everyone else, and id also like to see Yalcouye included in the squad.

The team Saturday will be telling on who’s showed effort and impressed Matos in his first proper week having them training.

...But we are not allowed to play without a minimum of 11 players!

Yalcouye and Benson still here judging by the photos, I hope we see more from Yalcouye I think he could be a big player with his energy.
