• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Not that I'm advocating it but would anyone be surprised if Fisher was given a chance or too much of a risk? Vigs has dropped off a bit but does always make worldy save each game.

My Random Prediction.

Fisher
Casey Cabango Burgess Tymon
Galbraith Stamenic
Ronald Yalcouye Eom
VP

The positive is he admitted what we all thought about the second half. The team fell back into bad habits. So at least there is some hope. Sheehan never said this as he was the one with O Dea who made us like this. Sitting deep.

Who would have thought back in August that we would be the underdogs on Saturday v Oxford.
Well the complete shambles re the coaching team shows that not enough work was put in to see if these coaches were ok to come or not, there is enough negativity around the club but when these guys were and are desperatly needed to try and install confidance and help the players they are not allowed anywhere near them farcical
Not expecting a win tomorrow sorry to say up against a team that has won last 3 games and to be fair playing well
hope the powers that be are searching for alternative options re the coaches as i cannot see a happy outcome on this appeal

We can win this and give Matos some space to breathe. The press conference did not sound positive for Yalcouye being involved and I think we need to give up on him and focus elsewhere, I do not understand the constant clamour for him to play and looks forward to it being over with so we can focus on players who may be here going forward. We really need some players to stand up and be counted this week and to prove they deserve to be here after January or to not have players targeted in their positions. Inoussa and Stamenic in particular could really do with a strong performance plus Widell if I am being greedy.

I tend to agree with you on this. The initial decision by home office was a decline so we’re at the appeal stage. What new information can they possibly provide that they didn’t provide in the first submission.
Additionally his assistants are not being paid at the moment and will have family and other financial commitments. The longer this go’s on the greater the risk of some or all of them taking alternative jobs in Portugal or the EU.
The club would have known the Portuguese league 2 is not an accelerated route for a work permit so why the hell did we take the risk.
This is a professional football club behaving like an amateur club - it is beyond belief.
