Also handy for West Ham to have him just down the road.He had a championship club and couldn't get enough minutes. L1 is his level at the moment

I’d argue that Swansea is still more attractive than Stoke, which is where he appears to be heading.Loads of players would rather stay in or around London / Manchester / Liverpool. Let’s be honest other than our beaches and scenery (which we appreciate) what is there for young players with a few bob burning an hole in their pockets? Let’s not kid ourselves that the area is attractive in that sense.
YES - nailed on!I’ve liked him and wouldn’t have been worried if he’d played more, but I guess there were no Championship clubs that would guarantee him any more game time than with us.
As you say they’ll likely be in the Championship next year so 20 games of League 1 football is better than potentially 0 starts with us (watch Cabango or Burgess get an injury now)
I wasn’t talking about a specific player, I was talking generally. In this players case, he’s obviously saw Stoke as a better place / club to go to if that’s the case. We move on.I’d argue that Swansea is still more attractive than Stoke, which is where he appears to be heading.
Yep. His loss, it won’t be our loss.I wasn’t talking about a specific player, I was talking generally. In this players case, he’s obviously saw Stoke as a better place / club to go to if that’s the case. We move on.
You won't be saying that tommorow when Ronald blazes another cross into the standsYep. His loss, it won’t be our loss.
Been on a downward spiral for years, it's our club and we all love it , but if you were a young player and looking for a spell somewhere it wouldn't be here. There's almost nothing left to play for (again) , apart from maybe being dragged into a relegation scrap. That has to change if this club wants to progress.Fact is, we are 17th in the league and won’t look attractive at the moment. If I had just been on loan at Sheffield United and done well as Rak-Sakyi has, I wouldn’t want to be going to the bottom half of the Championship either.
Our pull depends on our league position and we can’t use that right now. Unfortunately we did a lot of damage by appointing the wrong man back in May.
Yes, its a valid point that playing Eom on the right would mean he would lose the goal threat. That said, I would think that the make weight would be the addition of his crossing.Eom played in the same position with his previous club. Purely because he can cut in and shoot on his right. I agree in theory if he is a player who has a strong right foot should be on the right, but naturally it wouldn't lead to his goals or shots as he would be cutting in - having been on his right side to then shoot on his left. The issue as you pointed out is that the issue is his assists and his weak left foot. The only way you could in theory use him is as a 10, which many have debated.
Yes, you're absolutely correct. However, Eom is so one-footed he's extremely predictable in which way he'll go. Certainly he still manages to beat a man from time to time, but its a huge hole in his game.Eom plays on the left because he doesn’t have the pace to regularly beat a man. His skill is trickery to cut in and then naturally cross with his right foot from the left hand side. We use Tymon’s left foot either overlapping or behind Eom to get a left footed cross from the left.
Exactly, there’s ambition being shown off the pitch and an effort to build a deeper squad on it. The only thing that has been a big mistake seems to be our manager appointment last summer, I think the club will head on an upward trajectory hopefully, now that we have Matos in, who seems to have more of a defined style of play.Been on a downward spiral for years, it's our club and we all love it , but if you were a young player and looking for a spell somewhere it wouldn't be here. Why?I’d argue that Swansea is still more attractive than Stoke, which is where he appears to be heading.
