That’s where the goals should be coming from. Done. Next?We also need to address where goals should be coming from apart from Vip.. today Franco, Eom, Ronald and Cullen all had good chances to score.
Plenty of room down at St HelensBirmingham gaffer quote -

Move them !!!
I agree, that could easily have been a penalty, as you say defender never looking for the ball. Has Inoussa gained a reputation for going down too easily !!50/50 I think although the defender was never looking at the ball
Couldn’t have summed us up better, and don’t get me started with Ronald McDonald! That’s where the goals should be coming from. Done. Next?
In all seriousness, our ‘forwards’ can’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo. Given we play with width, it amazes me that we’ve stuck with wingers who have very little end product.
I like Eom; he’s got something about him and can open up spaces by easily beating a man. But apart from the very rare worldie, his end product is non-existent.
Cullen isn’t really a 10 - no assists says it all, but at least he chips in with a few goals. When he plays up top he doesn’t have the physicality and movement to worry CBs too much.
Inoussa also no end product and Benson loan a flop. The less said about Ronald, the better. He somehow gets a few assists and goals, but is ridiculously wasteful in all areas of his game.
But we’ve got who we’ve got. We can find good players on the cheap (Vigeroux, Franco, Galbraith, Stamenic). But we really struggle to find good attacking players. Presumably everyone’s looking for them and they’re more expensive.
I’m not sure if this is 100% true, but a mate said the price of a season in the South stand with a child, is cheaper than a “normal” season ticket.Plenty of room down at St Helens
It is a good position for away fans. Fair play to Brum for bringing plenty too. It wouldn’t be so bad if we had a full and vocal south stand.
We may be two losses from the trap door as you say. I prefer to look at it that we’re two wins from teams that rarely win from the trap door. Two wins that are taking those teams 8 games to get on average.Couldn’t have summed us up better, and don’t get me started with Ronald McDonald!
Wtf does he do to be almost first pick on the team sheet ? It’s like starting every game with 10 men. Up till now Inoussa hasn’t cut it in the championship, the odd little burst of skill isn’t enough. Why not try Key out wide considering our apparent dearth of good wingers ?
We have to source a loan striker asap.
We can’t go on not converting chances, it will come back to haunt us.
Anyways, enough moaning. I throughly enjoyed the game, thought we bossed the 1st half, with Franco, Widell, Galbraith and Fulton being excellent.
Unfortunately, as always, we couldn’t sustain it in the 2nd half, mainly because of our lack of quality on the bench.
Once you take off your one and only centre forward, who’s been banging them in, and replace him with Cullen, your asking for trouble.
The subs made us worse because of that lack of quality.
Memo to Brett & Jase : “Help Victor Tomatoes ! Bring in someone to put the ball in the net “
Plus consider recalling Lissah, Wilson and Congreve.
For those who haven’t seen the league table,
We’re 2 losses away from the trap door.
Key did it last weekend as well.It was nice to see our right winger breaking forward and putting a quality cross on a plate for Vipotnik to score.
I have been waiting 18 months to see Ronald do that - Oh wait![]()
For me, the only shooting practice I’d have for Ronald, would involve money and a hitman. For me after every training session Ronald should have 30 mins shooting practice from the corner of the penalty area shooting hard and low trying to hit the inside of the far post low and hard not blasting the ball over the bar .
I have lost count how many times he's done that this season
