I believe the club would have sourced him as he has no connection to Sheehan or O’Dea.

Romano now saying it's done deal.

The club won't be able to control the press, it's pointless getting worked up about IF they actually are. I suspect it might have been Walta's club trying to create some more interest late into the deal and to their benefit and I would expect Swansea to do the same if they were selling and thought they could get more out of it.
