Where has it been said we’ve put any serious efforts in to getting a striker? We probably made a few enquiries just in case there was a bid for Vipotnik. But I haven’t seen any mention of a genuine bid.
Don’t know whether it’s been said or not but we have been trying. That Birmingham bloke was one option.

That’s because we’ve been lucky with injuries since Idah was injured.

There’s no amount of trust or otherwise that can prevent an injury.

The same will be true if we go the next two months without Vipotnik being injured btw. Given you don’t understand the difference between risk and outcome…
Ooooh, look Lisa has her claws out, again.

Matos seems to be a fan of his, but maybe wages was too much as they paid 9 M for him and He said loan would be alot considering Vip is on form.

No, Forest defender was all but done but got called off. Appears from Tom Coleman that we moved onto this Chelsea lad and again his parent club has called it off.
Let's see what happens.
The Forest one was called off on Friday and this one put in place Saturday / Sunday I thought?

Can we recall Lissah at this stage?

Everything is a risk in football but we can’t have 4-5 people to cover every position. It’s a 25 man squad maximum and we could never afford more
She's still smarting about going all out on the Matos appointment.

Apparently he's a good number two and not as manager.

This must mean we are bringing in a striker.

Otherwise it’s genuinely ludicrous.

There’s a even money chance Idah’s recovery will take longer than hoped for (they often do, or it’s ok for a short while then goes again) and that means we are a twisted knee away from having Cullen start and no one on the bench for six or eight games.

Plus we’ve lost two wingers (one brought in) albeit one was utterly useless and two centre backs (Santos is about to go as well as Casey) and are bringing in a youngster with next to no experience.

It’s odd to say the least.
You're not wrong, but I get the sense that Walta would be another who could contribute in the false 9 or shadow striker type role where he could provide an option for the press. He scored 16 in 30 last season.
