• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Middlesbrough usually play a 4 - 3 - 3 have seen them 4 - 2 - 2 - 2
Looks as if Hellberg can be flexible .
When they lost to Coventry they played
4- 4 - 2 .
Will be interesting to see if they play this 3-5-2 till the end of the season. They looked good last night.

I see boro switched to a 3-5-2 last night. I will keep banging this drum but if we want to be a successful team we have to think about transitioning to a 3-4-3 in the summer.
I think if we did go this route then it would probably be something like

Vigs

Ward
Cabango
Burgess

Key
Galbraith
Stamenic
Galbraith

Walta
Yalcouye/Widell

Vipotnik

Let's be fair, at this stage it wouldn't do much harm trying it away from home.
Although Matos has hardly if not ever played without a back 4.

Key would certainly have his work cut out

Key is obviously important for unlocking defences in your system.

That back 3 just worries the life out of me that's probably part of the reason why I wouldnt mind waiting untill the summer to try it.

Realistically all we could go with if we went 3 at the back......Santos being the only other option in there 😬

I think it would be ok personally. Would we consider this formation given that we have been persistent with wingers aswell as signing a few since the summer?

Oh no I definitely see us still persisting with this 4-3-3 next season.

It's just a personal hunch that I feel like the winger position will slowly be phased out outside of the elite clubs so I'm just hoping we jump on the train early. Also watching these wingers every week as made me want to change even more.

Not one has really impressed or hit numbers to impress unfortunately.
Makes the calls to go 3 at the back with wing backs all the more understandable.
