• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The first goal was soft but completely Cabangos fault, all he had to do was stand his man up instead he hangs a leg and that’s a pen nine times out of ten if they chop back which he did

Less I say about Eom for the second goal the less likely I get myself banned

Third goal was a classic case of Gary Neville called “lazy leg”. Hanging a leg out like that causes a deflection making it harder for a keeper more than it helps

Widdell pathetic with that shot btw. Just pass the fucking thing in the corner

Both centre backs utterly pathetic again. Probably the worst two centre half's we've had in the liberty.

Really not far from being a good side but we've got to drop the sentimentality and get rid of the shite
100%. Get the defense and Wingers worsted and we can competive to get into top 6. But we won't with Cabango, Burgess, Eom and Ronald. Sad as I am to say that.

Players are not good enough unfortunately. We need to replace 90% of the squad if Premier League is the goal.

Looks like being one of those days, however an early goal 2nd half and who knows

Tymon's very timd attempt to block Sakamoto's goal was extremely poor

If we can get the next goal, I think it could be on. Think Reading in our play off final…the width of Monks toe from probably winning.

It doesn’t really matter though, we’ve seen how we want to play and it’s fine, but we need Galbraith in midfield, two centre backs that can defend inc one that can bring the ball out, at least one much better winger and people who can score (as I was told in no uncertain terms and colourfully by our frighteningly violent centre forward…’hit the target you c**t, post and bar is a miss not unlucky”.

The penalty immediately followed by Franco’s miss has given us a mountain to climb, because…momentum.

Concede goals like that though, and we are going nowhere or worse.

A semi competent ref now and again would help too. It's every week
