• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Vig

Parker - Cabango - Burgess - Tymon

Fulton - Franco - Widell

Nunes - VP - Eom

2-1 Win (Swans)

I would go with yesterday's line up to start apart from Ward, Yalcouye and Ronald.

I would bring in Parker or Key (if fit) or Galbraith (if fit) and Nunez.

Walta to come on or even possibly start for Yalcouye if Galbraith is still not available.

Galbraith is out for the rest of the season and Key has also been ruled out for Monday's game.

It's time we threw Parker in to the mix, playing Ward is just a complete waste of time as this stage.

I would play Ronald at right back. Failing that Jay Fulton. Both could get forward in a Key type of way, when possible.

With how open we were yesterday, I’m not expecting anything from this one. I’ve only seen Boro a few times since Hellberg went there but they’ve looked pretty good, I don’t think we’ll be able to cope with their attackers. They need to win against us to keep pace with Millwall too so they’ll be giving it everything.

Watch us win 1-0.

VIP on 18 in the championship, plus 2 international goals for Slovenia on Tuesday. Those 2 will add another couple of million to his already ever increasing price tag.

And to think the consensus on here last summer was we need to get rid. He is useless

Not sure about the ‘useless’ part, but the club were also more than happy to move him on last summer, and for a fraction of what his current value is.

Vip looks fitter than last season also he was more isolated with Sheehans backward football. We press higher with the better midfielders which gets him in the games more. Tymon has been a revelation which helps assists.

Imagine if he had an even half competent winger on either flank 🤔

A lot of pressure on them now. They went top briefly not so long ago and they've stumbled so much that Millwall have overtaken them and Ipswich look much more likely than them as well.
The play offs will be tough mentally after looking very good for automatic for most of the season.
Get into them.

People shouldn't be blinded by their poor recent results they have been extremely unlucky in those games.

They create a ridiculous amount of chances but can just never seem to be clinical in these games. They will absolutely smash a team sooner rather then later it's been on the cards for a while. Let's just hope its not against us.

Our centre of the pitch needs to be excellent to stop them something which has drastically let us down in recent months. I wouldnt mind seeing a midfield of Fulton, Stamenic and Franco to give us the most amount of protection.

They’ve been very streaky since Hellberg took over over.

Looked very good going forward (especially 1st half) on Friday. Can see another high scoring game, just a question of who takes more of their chances. Will be interesting to see the team and whether Eom & Idah get a start after their goals on Friday.
