• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I think Parker and Woodward should be integral part of the first team next season. Footy now is a 15 man 90 mins especially the way we are set up so both should get game time to develop.

In an ideal world we wouldn't sign any players on loan and blood out own youngsters instead.

Fed up of developing players for other clubs.
The trouble with that tho is that the teams we loan players to probably think the same.

Lack of loans could lead to teams developing stronger teams with home grown players, relying less and less and spending a small fortune on players they can't afford.

Concentrate on making the development leagues more competitive. The lad we've had from Chelsea in theory has wasted a year of his career.

Very true Smurph.

Yalcouye was the best loan this season and has something. Not sure he has enough to play in Premier League with his parent club, but he is one I would of liked us to have. Casey was OK. The rest was duds. Got to do better with loans.

I just can’t see how we would have been worse off using Wilson/Congreve instead of loaning Benson/Nunes. Just seemed like a waste of time and money getting those loan players in and loaning our young wingers out.
The only benefit is that Lissah and Congreve have played many more minutes than they would had they stayed at Swansea this season, which will hopefully leads to them being more than capable member of the team/squad next season.
