    His current side is now Swansea if he’s signed for us 🙈 No mention of loaning him back. To be fair, none of our players will be playing any football until they return for pre season. He’s in exactly the same boat as the rest of the squad. Which is perfect.

    The last couple of games have shown how much we miss him defensively. We’re not conceding some of those goals today with him playing. Many say he’s not worth the £25-30k a week, but to sign anyone near his ability will probably cost £1 million+ plus the wages. But, I think he’s gone.

    Interestingly, when chatting with Sheehan earlier in this week he said he wasn’t sure if Widell was an 8 or a 10… said he needed to watch him more, but wasn’t sure what type of player he was.
