We’re a club in decline. Our challenge was to get back up whilst we had the parachute payments. Now that they’ve ended we’re far more likely to go down than up.

If we go down we'll be basically back where those c***s Dineen and Jenkins said we'd never be again.

I agree 100%, but they didn't employ Martin, he's got some fanciful idea that we can play like Peps teams, the guy is a fraud, its pathetic, any players we had/got with pace he's got rid or side lined them.

From what I saw, we never looked like breaking them down, and our defence was even more shakey than last season, and that's saying something. Worrying times.

I think this too. I think he's that sort of bloke. Shallow and plays players that (edit - pretend to) adore him while freezing the rest out.

He's had 50 odd games, a full pre-season and he still can't organise a defence or get us to successfully play out from the back. The mistakes we were making in his first month in the job are still being made today.

We've got a very good first 11 of players this season and they are going to be wasted under Martin.

I imagine he thought the same as every Swans fan should. Which is it is an absolute shambles.

With the players we had out there or available today quite how anyone managed to make us that bad is almost beyond comprehension.

We have signed two centre backs, one of whom is supposed to be the next bright young thing and our defence is unfathomably dreadful. We signed a wing back in January and another on loan this summer and neither started. It’s inexcusable. As is, by the way, picking Fulton.
