• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Been to Hull three times and lost 2-0 every time with a shocking performance to go with it, I hope me not going this time we get a win but it will be a really tough game, draw would be brilliant.

Last time I went to hull we got chased into the ground. Was after the game at the vetch, when our fans were throwing the advertisement hoardings into their fans.
4 of us drove there, We got there early and went to one of their pubs. Not knowing it was one of their boozers. The landlord served us and said “drink up there is a mob on its way for you”
So we did and as we got outside there they were, so we’re got our heads down and walked past getting abuse and the odd bottle thrown at us. Then we got about 50 meters away and my mate spun around and started flicking the vs.
Then the mob started chasing through the streets of hull. ( I was fucking furious with my mate).
Funny thing was, there was a group of teenagers in front of us, thinking we were chasing them, so they were running from us and us from the mob. 🤣

Needless to say I won’t be making Tozzie casual style book.

Hull away last season was the game that made me turn on Williams, we were absolutely gash. Would actually be impressed if we played that poorly under Matos

This will be a tough one. Will be happy with a point against a team in strong form
Also practically nailed on that McBurnie will score against us again

He was a real handful in the home game and I was disappointed we didn't push the boat out to bring him back rather than going for Idah. Considering the reported fee (which includes add ons) there's no way we couldn't have put together an equivalent package for McBurnie.

Alas we move on and VP needs to hold the fort right now as the only fit striker without getting a proper rest. At least after this match its only one game a week until end of Feb

We did push the boat out for Oli. We offered him more money than Hull but he opted to sign for them

Don’t have a good feeling about this one, we never seem to do well there

I hate to say it, it's in the stars
McBurnie scores and we lose. I'm writing this game off. Sad as that sounds.

That's hell of a story. Not sure about anyone else but I want the win more than ever now after reading this 😜💪💪

Though I enjoy 2 games a week, Matos pretty much confirmed what we all saw yesterday that the team was knackered. Get this game over and done with and concentrate on training and weekly match days.
