• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

We could be 21st when Pompey and Blackburn play their games in hand (let's face it they will both probably win aswell), and we are halfway through season.

I'm really not sure how many numbers/performances people need to see that this is a relegation battle and one we absolutely deserve to be in.

I hate this arrogance/blind faith of this fan base we deserve to be down here.
Could say the same about the constant negativity from a selected few.

If you'd rather bury your head in the sand and live in delusion then that's fine.

I just don't think a majority of our fans really grasp how terrible we've been this season.

You honestly think that the majority of us have enjoyed the season to date?

We all know being the in the position we are in isn't acceptable, some of just feel the need to constantly talk about it.

New manager in place, two wins with two clean sheets and a decent performance away from home where we could, should have earned a point.

Yeah I agree with you.

I think we definitely need to guard against the kind of complacency we saw when Carvalhal took us down, where we got to a point where we sort of assumed we'd stay up without going to the trouble of actually doing anything about it. Like then, we probably have too much individual quality to be in the bottom 3, but unlike then we need to make sure we take the right attitude into every game.

Equally, I can't share SB123's total doom and gloom about how appalling we allegedly are - if you want to hear all about how bad it can really be, go and have a chat with a Wolves or Sheffield Wednesday fan and ask them about how their season is going.

Matos seems to have an infectious personality which I hope will translate in to the team and the stands.

We can either sit around feeling sorry for ourselves or roll our sleeves up and get on with it.

Spot on. If non of us was aware of the situation and wanted to hide from it then I would never create this thread. Granted I have my off days and my emotions are either positive or negative but at least that's consistent with what is happening. Most of us on here just want results. We will all have different opinions on players etc but a win is a win.

Absolutely, honestly can't see what enjoyment they get from following the team.

Sometimes you just need to get on with the hand you've been dealt and make the most of it.
Has always been like this though. Was even worse in the prem days, fan base full of utter entitled xunts

Poor post, in so many ways.

Get with the program, fella - it really ain't that much of a stretch to see, eyes wide open that we are already on another level with Vitoball. Pace, endeavor, togetherness, style, shape, footballing intelligence, strategy, ongoing tactics/subs, positivity

Vite vite, keep up at the back, eyes wide shut........ SwanseaBoy by name and SwanseajustaBoy by nature, obvs......
