You can vote Plaid without worrying about independence. A referendum on that even if Plaid form the next Welsh government is years, probably decades away.
I noticed that he mentioned the vote for independence wouldn't be on the cards for their first term, which does encourage me vote for them, even more.

Just hope it doesn't turn in to another SNP with their core focus on independence whilst neglecting other things.

I doubt it would be on the cards for their second term either. Also, the U.K. government has to allow it which feels unlikely.

There’s a school of thought that says a Reform government in Wales would, in the long run, be a massive positive for the U.K. as whole four years before the next U.K. election. This is because governing Wales will undoubtedly show Farage and his goons up for the absolute charlatans they are (as the few local authorities they’ve been running catastrophically badly for less than a year is already doing). Obviously as Welsh people we can’t accept that and it’s absolutely vital for Wales and the future of our country that Reform don’t form the next government. 2026 is the most important election in this country since devolution.

The “Labour/everyone else is bad so might as well give Reform a go they can’t be any worse” is the height of witless nonsense. They can and will be worse than anything this country has ever seen.
They can and absolutely will be worse than anything before or after them.

Because of the fact they are ALL equally fing useless and yes I will be moaning mostly because of the fact that we haven't anyone to vote for that has any substance to what they speak about, the political landscape and the politicians in that landscape are pathetically useless and voting for plaid is vote for another party with similar if not the same policies as Labour.

Oh and you are able to avoid reading my moans very easily, by putting me on ignore, Thanks in advance and good morning.
Vote for the party which provides the best opportunity to stop the least effective party getting into power.

Jump on the independence train next 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Annibyniaeth
Aye that’s it mun! Jump on the infantile 'independence train' (has it progressed beyond medieval standards yet?) to enable the complete divorce from English NHS services, that Wales can NEVER do without.

Independence means what it says on the tin i.e. U.K NHS family under one umbrella no more. Kaput, "INDEPENDANT" status get it?

NO MORE Welsh patients being referred from Singleton Hospital for eye cancer surgery at St Paul’s Hospital in Liverpool…. NO MORE Welsh patients going to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for life saving surgery….NO MORE specialised life saving surgical intervention elsewhere in England….No more Welsh patients receiving cancer treatment at Clatterbridge Hospital. No more Welsh patients receiving vital cancer services elsewhere in England either etc.

Let the isolationist English hating idiots who forever romanticise about bygone battles involving swords, bows and arrows and horses have full divorce and take the reigns. Maybe they can sing a new ‘defiant’ song, this time about taking Welsh patients to hospital in coracles? Guess what air-force provides the specialist aviation for transplantation surgery?

Never mind the Welsh Nats will have an easy answer, that'll embarrass even the thickest of lefty loons, on the lines with something like this....

Wales being the test bed for the rest of the UK is an absolutely terrifying thought.

You only have to read Witless Wingstand’s contributions to realise how realistic a prospect it is too.
It is amusing to see a full on Anti-Woke, right wing, Reform supporter complain about other people harking back to a mythical past though.

Yep, it’s going to take a monumental effort to stop the tide.
If others dream of Welsh independence was fulfilled on the very terms that left leaning types want? It would mean never ever seen before restructuring of Wales’s NHS being placed into the hands of E- grade idiots of type that have taken decades NOT to build a relief road, and left Wales at the bottom of league tables.

“Safe in their hands” NOT!!! BUT the Welsh Nat daydreaming is always backed up with “how to build a box girder bridge” standard fantasy! Hey Presto as easy as that!

And I guess the Professor Robert Leonard resignation would be advance forewarning of the destructive impact of even greater devolved power(s).

That is why I guess Welsh language academics are always are in the front of the queue for independence as opposed to Professor Karol Sikora and Professor Robert Leonard etc types who know how the real world in the NHS actually works.

BUT don't worry mun, Welsh Nats say Wales will charge England money for water and everything will be dandy after that. LOL!!!
