Simple solution to end time wasting, just get the referee's to add on the correct amount of stoppage time at the end of each match.
 
If they're going to enforce it, fair enough, but also enforce the rule that the opposition player can't stand in front of him, and definitely can't move to block him!
 
This is to stop the time wasting though. teams who are 1-0 up will go down and call the physios on for everything, like they used to.
Problem is now, the physios just stand at the touchline for ages and the players milks it for 20 seconds and then gingerly gets up saying he doesn't need the physios. I think if the player doesn't need the physios on, the game should continue and if the opposing team refuse to continue, should be yellow cards for timewasting.
Agree - but only think it should apply when the player is injured after being fouled.
 
Wasn’t there also a ‘four step’ rule when they were holding the ball?
