• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Lewis O'Brien is on loan and did not want to join us, he also played only 13 matches in Prem, not a great amount and they loaned him out so that shows what they think of him

Also boy I wish I had your sheer optimism but respectfully has any of this "best-in-class processes, people and systems - we now have the makings of the perfect platform to deliver proper next level stuff" happened?

"next level funding and a next level best-in-class recruitment apparatus" like our winter transfer window?
To avoid lots of puerile toing and froing clogging this thread - what's your preferred way forward right now for our Club ?
Give it yer very best shot, son........

for all our current shareholders to sell the club to either local businessmen with love, care and support for the club, or to billionaires with ambition or funding

Not sure what your problem is.

This place is generally a decent forum where opinions are shared without the need to resort to the type of behavior you're currently displaying.

Maybe this form isn't the place for you.
"resort to the type of behavior you're currently displaying" Like what?

A petulant 12 year old child.
how am i? Sure my opinions are unpopular but I stated them as calmly as I could because I want the club to succeed and I just don't think our current owners will do that

Im not sure, I didn't think so but Cooper almost did despite our owners
We're nowhere near where we were when Cooper was in charge.
We've gone through Martin, Duff & Williams - all of whom were expensive mistakes & cost millions to get rid of.
Not to mention the Luton tea boy Paul Watson burning through our money over several disastrous transfer windows.
We need a few years of stability - get our house in order and look to push on from there.

It's your opinion, it's neither right or wrong, it's just how you feel.

Doesn't help when you go at people like a bull in a China shop.

Happy to draw a line in the sand and move on if you are.

that's true, didn't back any of the 3 either, especially since RM managed to get Southampton promoted (less said about his time in PL the better though)

I'm slowly edging towards the Sheehan In box, he seems to play tactics that suit the opposition and not just his own style of play no matter who we're up against. It hasn't always been pretty, but it makes us hard to beat and gets results.
This is refreshing imo is setting up how to play against certain opponents is a good way to get more points, having one style week in week out is risky as we saw under Martin and Williamsz

You are so out of touch with our current reality (our Club, our owners, the fiscal landscape etc)

Do some proper research, some proper thinking and come back when you're not so off-piste StoneCold, son.
