Reading Rushworths interview Margetson was the defining reason to come here.
Ambitious kid who knows he could do a lot worse than day to day mentoring from the England head goalkeeping coach

Fair play to the club, Pederson still happening Duffle?

Who knows, football transfers are volatile beasts. It won’t be for lack of trying anyway.

Having Martyn here is great for us. His links to the England set up can benefit us massively.

Rushworth seems highly rated, Hibs fans seem to rate Mykola as well. I’ve seen a load of Newcastle fans ask why they’re loaning Ashby to us, they think he’s good enough to be around their first team as well as cover for Trippier.

I’ve been very happy with the signings we’ve made so far.

A bit more than that ;)
Always dangerous judging a player off you tube clips but he's clearly far more than a target man, technically very good.
Just hope that he stays clear of the knee injuries.

One of his goals I saw the strength and pace he had and finishing was brilliant.

The Hibs fans do seem to like Mykolo. Sounds more than promising on first impressions. The keeper sounds excellent though what happens in one year if we have got rid of our own Benda?

Got a year to plan out who to bring in next, if we can't keep Rushworth about. We have one of the best GK coaches in the country overseeing it all so pretty relaxed about it, although I do think it's a shame we'll lose Benda.

Wow this is a massive gamble then surely? I was thinking it might be worth a punt on a few hundred k at most. Considering his record in modest leagues and Troyes evidently being particularly eager to keep him I'm astonished if this is true. And he's not even going to be an automatic starter for us. And I'd be concerned if he was signed as a replacement for Piroe.

Similar was said about Piroe when we signed him (we love to mock JVZ, but he wasn't alone in criticising the signing). His career record was 19 goals in 83 games, most of which came in the Dutch second division. Kuharevych is the same age Piroe was when he was signed and has 9 in 53, also mostly in lower level competitions.

We'd be incredibly lucky if he's as good as Piroe of course, but it's hardly impossible.

Yea I take that on board although Piroe had been in the PSV system and his youth scoring record was very good. Having said that I thought he was a gamble too.

Troyes signed M K for around 300k after he scored 4 in Ukraine. He played a total of 13 minutes for Troyes (zero goals). Then a loan at Leuven with around 12 games (zero goals) followed by the Hibs injury plagued loan where he got 5 goals (decent under the circumstances).

But does this sound like a million + player?

Should Troyes be quadrupling their outlay!?
