• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It can mean whatever you want it to mean, lines or no lines.

I want it to mean f*** you. (Not you, of course, but Martin ;) )

Well after much deliberation I’ve decided not to follow my man to Southampton, I’m sure everyone will be relieved by that…onwards and upwards …legends never quit.

In all seriousness, the club announcement speaks volumes doesn’t it in terms of tone.

Good luck to him - it’s what he’s been working towards all the time he’s been with us. Personal advancement.

I’m sure he hoped he’d advance a little more quickly than a team in the same division but an advancement it is at the moment. Be interesting to see how he gets on.

He'll get on fine. Not through talent but nowadays the three relegated teams finish the next season automatically promoted or in a play-off position. By the way when did that last not happen? They're a minted club with very good players and it would take a stubborn, ideological manager not to achieve that. I have hopes.

Like Americans, and not just those associated with SCFC.

Does anyone think "meh" about his departure.. can't believe someone actually forked out money for him, or maybe or something, apparently

Southampton after Downes on loan. He really does not know how to sign anyone except from previous clubs does he 😂

Probably just a lazy link, West Ham will want to keep hold of him if they’re losing Rice Rice Baby.

Literally everyone on this site wanted to see the back of this fraud in January/February, we've offloaded him and got a lumper too, fùck him and his useless backroom staff. Result 💪💥

That just reminded me, his set piece man, absolute incompetent and should've been dumped in November

The three relegated teams finished 1st, 11th and 13th last season.

The tone of the message from the club at least looks like Coleman isn't of the Winter brand where he rolls over at the first sign of any amount of cash. Clearly the club are unhappy and I suspect at this point for the good of our preseason we agreed to the 1.25 and have said we will take them to arbitration for the rest just so we can move on.
