• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What is this he's still a Swindon player? He has been immense this season and apparently due to some administration situation he can't play for the club that pays his wages, Swansea City. Swindons league is finished, Benda is contracted as a Swans player. Anyone know the truth behind this because Mulder is fcking dreadful.

Brenda was on loan for the season, the season hasn’t finished so is still technically a Swindon squad member.

But their season has finished, I’ve got a few suspicions about this 🤔

He must be a fairly poor keeper if flappy Fred is keeping him on the bench.

Woodman had a dodgy spell last season but came through it, all youngsters do apart from the odd few or the elite. Dropping him for Benda who may or may not perform serves what purpose. Could end up with 2 GK with confidence issues, Cooper & MM see them day in day out and at the moment MM has defence at set and open play looking very good. Two clean sheets, we need to support youngsters as this is the only way we will get a shot of the big time again.

Yes OK but let’s be honest - your argument that Cooper and MM see him in training every day does nothing apart from stifle debate. I reckon Tremmel could pick a keeper and Benda will be better than Woodmann.

I hope your'e correct about Tremmel scouting GK must be hard going, as for stifling debate your response proves otherwise. You obviously must have watched Benda more than I have last season at Swindon to make that claim., However our International quality goalkeeping coach MM decided that we needed Woodman back as first choice, Believe me i would would have liked SB to have had a good start kept a clean sheet and given coaches and fans a reason to back him to keep his place as he is our player.

No Krunchy. Just going by the reviews from last season and the fact that I like a keeper to be able to have a bit of presence in the box which I don’t see from Woodward. Other than that I‘d trust Tremmel‘s judgement. Back in the day he could have shagged my wife and as for that red hair ....
