Yes but if you’re getting a Scotland U21 striker with a glowing reputation it an excellent deal. Chicken feed. A poultry sum.300k isn't much for a League 2 club never mind us.
And at 300k a low risk possible high reward signing. We seem to be back to operating the “Swansea way”.you have to say looking at the highlights above that he looks very physically developed for his age, and his finish - plus the later shot that skimmed the bar look very exciting. I like this signing a lot..He can only improve (and likely quickly)
I thought Botti Biabi left on a free? The last Scottish striker we signed didn't do too badly and was sold on for a princely sum
Pederson is on 18k a week. 4 Months of his wages has paid for this player. So good business. Our academy manager spent 17 years with Aberdeen so im guessing he has some contacts in the Scottish game, 300k seems a bit of a punt when you take into account any decent young talent from other Scottish sides usually get hoovered up by Celtic or Rangers, but good luck to the lad.
Who in League 2 is splashing out £300k at a time?
You made it sound like it happens every transfer window, and it doesn’t. Far from it. As for Championship clubs, take away those awash with parachute money and you won’t see many splashing £300k on players to bolster their U21’s. Let’s hope Wales is already a step above that, the vibes feel good about this one.EFL League Two Transfer Record - bet365 News UK

There's been a few chunky transfers, tbh. 300k is nothing to a Championship Club though, a lot spend that on development players.
