Assuming he has a possession led approach he may struggle with a squad that hasn't been built with that in my mind, but the assumption that any possession led manager is doomed to failure doesn't stand up to examination. One thing is true is that a highly principled approach without pragmatism is a narrower path to success, as Williams found with us but not with County.
