I do love how the narrative is being changed to paint the Bersant Celina who scored nine goals (with a similar amount of assists if memory serves) in 18/19, and another eight goals for Ipswich the year before with who knows how many created as a moody, petulant millstone who only ever had a handful of good games per season.

A fine player. Potentially one of the best playmaking options in the division wasted.

It is revisionism at its finest. We were aghast at the suggestion Potter may take him to Brighton last summer...

What's changed for him and the many other players who have displayed poorer performances?

Lucky for us we had Matt Grimes to take all the free kicks when Celina was occasionally on the bench.

I'm suprised of the reaction for celina leaving. I personally didn't think he was up to championship football physically, mentally and ability wise. Yes he has the capability of a great goal, pass or skill but too a far inbetween for my liking. Consistency let him down not cooper, and I can't see why he is getting the blame. I personally don't think it had anything to do with where he played.

I have nothing against Celina, I wish him well and as stated in a prior post I feel that football on the continent might bring the best out of him.

He was nowhere near Gylfi's class. Glimmers of brilliance bit lacked consistency and I believe had a poor attitude.
£3 million seems about right.

For me he had the skill but seemed to have a bit of an attitude issue. While I sometimes wish it’d rubbed off on others, he also seemed to have a shoot first, pass second mentality. For me he’d often force a shot that wasn’t there.

I feel Cooper couldn’t get Celina’s best out of him, so probably best for both parties to move on if Cooper isn’t going anywhere.

Now, what are the chances we spend the £3m on an out and out striker?

Never cut the mustard for us.....now he's off to Dijon...

Just scored an absolute worldie for Ipswich. Funny player. Moments of genius interspersed with pure anonymity.

The goal if anyone's interested.

Sadly a player who can produce skill like this but can be a passenger for the other 89 mins

It’s an astonishing piece of control even before the outrageous finish.

He's certainly got talent, but if ever proof were needed that talent alone doesn't make you a top player, Celia is it.

Missed in the penalty shootout last night as Ipswich lost to Arsenal under 21's.
I still remember that penalty at The Hawthorns 🙄
