It's called freedom of speech Epaul and you are more than entitled to your views . Unfortunately the person who has been murdered no longer has a voice. Nobody expects or is asking you to grieve. I question the type of person you are when you feel the need to come on a football forum and post that, when his body is possibly not even cold yet

they need to figure out a way to stop videos like this going round so quickly and without a thought. Can not imagine what seeing a man die, from so many angles on a loop on a machine people carry round in their pockets all day, is doing to society.

I’ve been saying since the Trump shooting that this would happen. With hundreds of people recording political rallies/events through their phones, it was only a matter of time until something this gruesome circulated. I mean, imagine if Trump was hit between the eyes, that would have been an awful thing to see regardless of your political persuasion.

Exactly. I usually manage to avoid this kind of thing and never search for it, but it's been pushed at me on a loop for almost 24 hours now with gruesome videos and photos. Can not imagine this being completely normal to me and how it would impact me if I was 30 years younger and constantly on social media.

Exactly. I usually manage to avoid this kind of thing and never search for it, but it's been pushed at me on a loop for almost 24 hours now with gruesome videos and photos. Can not imagine this being completely normal to me and how it would impact me if I was 30 years younger and constantly on social media.

I count myself as lucky, as I can and choose to avoid all social media platforms (only use WhatsApp). I also understand that everyone can have that luxury. You are right that more needs to be done to prevent these horrendous clips being shown.

There must be a way for the companies to instantly block or hide these videos with a warning. Sadly I think they just want the engagement.

I can’t imagine the number of kids/teens that have seen it. Truly disgusting and gory to the extreme.

Bullet-proof screens will become the norm, which is a depressing thought.

I think it’s impossible, tbh. If you’ve got say 100 recording the event, it’s shared and shared again so the numbers of videos will grow exponentially, I don’t think you can stop it being seen in that case. Maybe with some form of auto-analysis of the video, but some will still get through.

The way Twitter works these days you have very little control over what’s shown on your feed and videos auto play as you scroll. That’s how I saw this one. I didn’t go seeking it and certainly didn’t click on it. As I said up thread, I was only vaguely aware of this bloke’s existence 12 hours ago.

What I find fascinating is how many people must've been in on this hit. There was of course the gunman, those who aided him/his disappearance, then those who caused the post-shooting distraction at the meet.

Presumably in time the investigation will join the dots. My bet is it's white supremacists.

The suspect, who they said appears to be of college age, moved to the roof of a campus building from where he fired the fatal shot.
After the shooting, he was tracked to the other side of the building. He then jumped off the roof and fled the scene, Mason said.

'We do have good video of this individual. We are not going to release that at this time,' Mason said. 'We’re working through some technologies and some ways to identity this individual.
'If we are unsuccessful, we will reach out to you as the media and we will push that publicly to help us identify them. But we are confident in our abilities right now.'

A weapon has also been recovered close to the crime scene.

And the suspect had better have given the murder weapon a good wipe, and a good wipe after that, and put on a pair of gloves and another pair of gloves after that.

Because DNA testing sensitivity has improved, just like with Operation Timmia (Swansea traveller family trial) where primary/secondary/tertiary transfer was explained fully during Crown Court proceedings.

I don't understand how some of you have said that they have watched the video of him being murdered AFTER reading the comments of posters openly saying how it made them feel and then posting comments about him . He was a human being who had views that not everyone agreed with. RIP

I’ve watched it, several times. How it makes someone else feel means nothing to me. We are all different, we all feel emotions differently. Whether I watched it once or a thousand times won’t make any difference to you or anyone else on this thread.
