Nixon reporting that Palace want Coops to replay Woy in the summer

think we could really struggle if we dont go up

Given our record of losing managers there is a real risk of him going if we don't go up, to Palace or elsewhere.

Why would he stay, he would have failed from a good position two seasons in a row with not much backing from the owners apart from words, some might see it as a progression and third time lucky, I doubt that, we either go up this season or it's a struggle to stay up under a different manager next season

Nixon doesnt have a good track record on most things Swansea City mind

Why would Palace gamble a relatively safe pair of hands and a continued stay in the premier league in Roy Hodgson for an untried inexperienced risky Premier League appointment in Steve Cooper?
I’m certain Palace will have a list 20 potential managers. No guarantee we’d be weaker next season under Cooper, I feel he’d further develop the squad - he’s consistently replaced underachievers throughout his tenure here and has been allowed to build his squad. Admittedly we’d lose a few but I’m sure there’s already a list of potential replacements drawn up. He’s 18 months into his ‘project’, which board & trust & Cooper admit involves gradual growth. There’s more than enough to keep him here.

Because he will be 74 at the start of next season?

lack of backing?!
hourihane, bennett, guehi, woodman are all prem players. Add retaining Ayew, Roberts, addition of Morris etc and spending 700k on a 20 year old you're talking absolute shite

i dont think we'd go down if he went but certainly would be a struggle as roberts, ayew, woodman, guehi, morris et all wont he here. Then again we would still have a decent back three in bennett, latib and cabango

If you think a couple of loan players and 700k after selling our best players for good money is the necessary backing for a push for promotion to the premier league then fine, its not mine, we are doing well despite the owners , not because of them

we spent a shit load in the prem on shite. What you dont think about is wages/signing on fees etc

I wonder if Julian still has David Wagners number if not i'd happily give Tosh jnr a go.After watching Palace and Burnley yesterday i was thinking Roy can't have long left think he'll announce his retirement soon after the end of the season. They were awful yesterdy threw the towel in after the first goal.

So who made the calls to appoint both Birch and Winter? Who would have approved the call to make both Potter and Cooper managers? Who would have chosen to try and put the club back on a financially even keel rather than see the debts mount up to eyewatering levels?

Pixies?

exactly, pathetic hatred for hatreds sake - let me guess it was all Leon Britton!!! Curiously quiet on this front over the past two seasons as we've done well
