• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Looks like they're going to relax the law later in the week, regarding no visitors allowed into your house, for certain sections of society.

Neath Port Talbot had 8 yesterday, it has risen to a massive 9 today.

Well worth the extra restrictions being imposed

Wish people would stop referring to it as a lockdown though.

How about calling it an open prison?

Oh dear we are doomed, best shut the country down again and once the numbers drop, we can open up again, then once the numbers rise again we can then lock the country down again to get the numbers down again, and once they are down we can than open back up, but of course the numbers will then rise again, meanwhile every fcuker is dying of heart disease and cancer, no one will have a job, and the country will be in turmoil, unless of course a vaccine that actually works is found but what a gamble relying on that will be.

Shut the country down then open back up?
Do that and there'll be fck all left to open.

Whoosh!

I dislike these lockdowns as much as anyone else, but why do certain people seem to blame everything on them? If it wasn't for the selfish idiots who won't wear a mask, won't socially distance, insist on still downing pints on Wind Street and going clubbing, then we wouldn't need to lockdown.

Like ECB said earlier, some people find it easier to blame the government than take the smallest shred of personal responsibility.

I love it when people say shut it down again, do they really think pubs will open back up if they are shutdown again now?
It’s last chance saloon for many right now anyway

I'm also testing cancer patients whose treatment has been stopped. Their lives matter too.
