• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Report - Swansea City’s on-loan forward Viktor Gyokeres is attracting interest from Swedish club Malmo.

I'll start a whip round for him to get to Heathrow.
Absolutely crap

Joel Asoro has been sent back from Genoa without playing a game. Will we use him as cover? Hopefully not...

Did he ever arrive?

He's not had much chance, but the bits that we have seen have been pretty much car crash in all areas. There might be a player in there but we don't really have the luxury to try and bring it out. We really need people to deliver goods straight away given where we are positioned, and to be fair to the bloke that's a tough gig to be shoved into. Maybe he would have been better off going to a mid table nothing team like Cardiff.

Apparently his first interview after joining us was uninspiring - I've not seen it though. He may be ok, but not a fit for us.

Said a few weeks ago ,if he was any good Brighton wouldn't be loaning him to us with the predicament they are in.

Brighton's Viktor Gyokeres is likely to stay in the UK and switch from Swansea to another club on loan, rather than returning to Sweden where he has attracted interest from Malmo. #BHAFC

Hardly surprising, but it appears as though Viktor Gyokeres’ time with Swansea could soon come to an end. #Swans #bhafc

Brighton to recall Viktor Gyokeres

Meanwhile, The Athletic report that Brighton will send Gyokeres back out on loan to Swansea's Championship rivals Coventry City.

Good luck to the lad, it hasn't worked out for him here and seemed like a last resort option from us.

Edit: Gyokeres going back to Brighton?
He’ll get recalled. Brighton are recalling him. That happened a couple of days ago and Viktor said his goodbyes yesterday. That will happen.
