All this fuss and bollox to go down and watch a 0-0 game. I hope we get a free kick.

If you're not against vax passes then you really should be giving your head a little wobble. You're somehow of the notion that it's ok for a government to dictate to you where you can go and what you can do based on whether you have their chemical in your body or not? Bare in mind that that is ludicrous at the best of times but in a society where you can identify as them and they but not the right to decide what you put in your body or not?? Pressurising 12 years olds too? They're scum. F@#k the pass!! At least they will get rid of covid! Oh wait, you can still catch it and pass it on??? WTF. I have through work, first hand experience of what's going on in the hospital. Mostly all older and DOUBLE JABBED. If you accept tyranny you're already a slave 👍

What a total fckn nonsense. Those of us who've been double jabbed can still carry the virus. Breach of freedom and liberties .Tw@ts.
.

It is not breach of freedom and liberties in any way. You have to show proof of malaria inoculation before going to certain countries. Going to a football match is not an inherent right. Other people also have an inherent right not to be mixing with those who have not been vaccinated. The more people that are not inoculated mixing together means they will more likely become ill and take up space in the NHS. If the club did not do this, they'd be negligent. The club has a duty of care to it's customers.

All they have to do( the same as every other establishment should) is put up a sign saying 'Enter at own risk'.

You cannot simply pass on the risk of death or serious injury to your customers. Doing that acknowledges there’s a danger which they’ve a duty to consider for their customers

Pretty sure thers risk boarding a plane. Think you'll find due diligence in place there.

Absolutely but the test is the foreseeability of that risk. Using that rationale, a plane company could allow its pilots to fly whilst drunk or not maintain the plane and simply say ‘oh we told them it was up to them’

The due diligence to which you refer is exactly what the club is doing, really don’t see the problem

No one is dictating to you where you can go. If you haven't been jabbed you simply take a LFT and show that you haven't got Covid. If you have got Covid you shouldn't be anywhere near crowds of people. People who don't have a "chemical in their body" are not restricted at all by this.

Agreed. But St. Helens does have a point. Double vaccinated can also spread the virus. Thought I read somewhere that the viral load was similar but shorter re contagious period. Professor will no doubt know.

It’s the effect of catching it, ending up in hospital if you’re not vaccinated and the risk of further mutations.

Got my pass today valid till 1410hours 17/10/21!!! Farcical!

It refreshes everytime you log back in, otherwise you could get a positive test but still show you are negative from a previous period.

It’s that risk of further mutations that the WHO is worried about. On the other hand it would still be a Corona virus and the pharma industry should be able to react even more quickly. Maybe have it completely wrong. Happy to be corrected!

Doing all they can to put us off going. Early season issues with turnstiles, then plenty sent to the ticket office cos of season card problems on matchday, stewards constantly being anal on arrival and now this FFS! All this to get in and watch 0-0 draws.
Give us a break FFS.

I’ll think you’ll find this is nothing to do with the club and a WG call.
