I don't think there's any ill feeling towards Christie, it's more a case of: We've looked to strengthen with free agents and right-back is where we decide to do it? Is that really an area of concern for us right now? It's just a bit weird.

Not only that, but whatever it is we're paying him, surely that cash is better used being put towards a new deal for Cabango or Darling.

We need as many Championship quality players as we can get. Its unfortunate that he plays in a position that we have decent depth but I also understand why we signed him. It we are chucking 3 year contracts at the likes of Cullen then I am not surprised by signings like this. We can only hope that financially this was not to much of a load.
