Can I get LaJollaJack to put my order through? I reckon he'd either get me pardoned or at the very least my execution date delayed whilst he bangs on about getting Willy out.

I found myself earlier on googling about last meals before execution, and one particular story is crazy, its from Texas, he orders an absolute shed load of food, but didn’t eat any of it. It turns out after he did that, Texas stopped the last meal requests.

It's not usually Florida that you look to for sense, but their limit of $40 value (in 2011, I would presume it's gone up since then) for the last meal request seems a sensible way to go.

That is if you accept that capital punishment is sensible in itself, but that's a whole different can of worms...
