Us making the playoffs and beating the current golden boys is not part of the Sky narrative, and anyone for who thinks that’s sour grapes it a FACT. Sky decide the story they want to tell before every match. Seven or eight years ago it was us, now it’s Brentford’s turn, and we just p!ssed on their fireworks.

Nail hit on head there pal. They are the darlings that we were when we got promoted. They need a new fairy story for next season, now that the Bournemouth fairytale has turned to dust.

It’s all geared up for a small club (smaller than us) to make it to the big time in their shiny new stadium. There desperate for it to happen as it gives them a story, as we did a few years ago.

Yes their goalkeeper fouled Brewster. However, a second earlier Brentford should have been awarded a free kick after Gallagher's dive in the box.

Sky may have passed it off as a "slip", however it was a blatant dive from Gallagher. It is actually one of the worst dives I have ever seen.

Nah, it's not really the worst you've ever seen. You're trying too hard to be controversial now and instead you just come out looking stoopid. Stoopid stupid Dwight.

I'm quite sure Dan James has made at least 50 worse dives and Neymar must have done a few hundred worse than Gallagher's last night. Do you remember Dele Ali doing one a few years ago when there was no one within a yard of him?

Not forgetting a certain Marcus Rashford also.

I have been quite vocal in calling out Daniel James' diving during his time with us and during his first few weeks with Manchester United (thankfully a strong minded manager has largely eradicated it from his game).

None compared to this effort from Gallagher. https://youtu.be/2Bmly7-TiII?t=656

Thanks for showing that video to prove what I thought at the time, he did not appeal for a penalty. As far as I'm concerned he fell as he tried to turn the defender. Dan James has dived and appealed for pens and free kicks

That is not a slip. He deliberately pulls his standing leg out from beneath himself. He only decides not to appeal after realising just how far away the defender is.

That's completely irrelevant if the ref hadn't blown for the first "offence" which he hadn't.

Yes, very canny management by Ole. Eradicating his diving by not playing him. What a manager.
