Disgrace! Club and Players - We Are Going Down!!

Oxford and Portsmouth fighting for points. I can see zero evidence we will win both games or even win one game.
I will continue to support the team as loud as always , but I think we will be lucky to get one point from these two games.

I'm going to be positive and say were not going down.

My reason for this is I actually think the players (most of them) are good enough. What has to happen is the full backing of Matos, he speaks well and seems to understand where things are wrong and for me has to be given the backing to sort things out.

There has been a lot of discussion about the owners and people running the club lacking football experience, well Matos despite his lack of managerial experience has football experience and it seems we have gone all in with him, so lets back him, I think he will be a very good manager.

He needs backing in January to get the players needed to balance the squad and he also needs to change the mentality and re-build the players confidence, this will happen if he implements a system that works for these players.

The other thing that has criminally overlooked is the players fitness and this needs addressing immeaditley.

I would like to see a RB (obivious as Key is one of the squad who is simple not good enough), a CB with pace to burn (it has to be Cabango or Burgess and I don't think Santos should ever have been signed).

I think we are OK in CM just needs to get the blend right, as for the wide players well the less we see of Ronald will be a good thing and if he can get Benson playing (same for Yalcouye) great if not send him back in January.

As for the forwards, this is a big issues as after Vipotnik we have nothing, neither Idah or Cullen offer any kind of consistent goal threat and I would cut my losses on Idah and move Cullen on as well.

So im summary I think we need

RB , CB , AM (NO10), CF

Replacing Key is the key (pun intended) to improving this team, he cause issues in defence (leaves open gaps, requires his CB to cover for him which leaves more gaps) and he makes it more difficult for his RW'er as teams know RB is a weakness and focus on this area and finally the CM's pass it out to the right and what happens Key just recycles the ball to Cabango (who isn't the greatest on the ball) and allows the opposition to reset, making life so much more difficult.

Someone with a lot more experience of this league.

I’m struggling with names in fairness, the only that comes to mind is a Tony Mowbray type.
To be fair to Tony Mowbray he has had an excellent reputation in the game and after his illness when in charge of WBA would he be that interested in coming to a club like the Swans and put his health in danger once again. Stay well away Tony.

Our league form in the last 6 games is shite. Can we turn it around, sitting here right now, I dont know. I hope we can and I'm ever the optimist, so having said all that I'm going to say we will be ok....just.

Vitor's immediate rask is to change the mindset of the players to battlers from the surrenderers that they currently are.
Oxford battled to a point at Norwich with a very late equaliser and then beat Ipswich this week. Do we look like a team with the bottle to get results like that? They have experience too with a battle hardened squad that survived last season with a result in Cardiff that sent the vermin down.
We have to stop waving the white flag at the first sign of being put under pressure.
Good luck, Vitor!

For me, it is Matos to blame for the defeat. After scoring the second, he is seen asking the players to pull back and slow down the game. We had the opposition under pressure at that time and should have stayed offensive and played our natural game.
