• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Interesting, after a brief read of that, and a google of Russel T Davies, I never knew he was from Swansea, and he also wrote It's A Sin, which I must say has been one of the most moving series, I have ever watched.

So a black Dr Who and the Tardis is now wheelchair friendly, happy days :D

The best episode since the Matt Smith period.

I'm very excited about the Ncuti Gatwa era.

Bit of a U turn,I quite enjoyed last nights episode, having said that there was fck all else on, entertaining nonetheless.🥫(couldnt find a Dalek, so substituted for a can of soup instead).😁👍

Rather than making comments, I decided to take the plunge and I have watched all 3 episodes of this, so far initial impressions.

The first episode Meep or whatever it was called, well that was just awful, I strongly suspect Russel T, had been on the Stella writing this, either that, or he was taking the pee, and let an 8 year old write it. -25/10

Second episode, now I enjoyed this, wooo we are going somewhere here, not a great episode in itself, but it held the magic of greater things to come. 8/10

Third episode, I think Russel has been on the Stella again, early days yet, but I can't see where he is going with this 4/10

So in essence after watching 3 episodes, If I was Russel T, I would not be concerned about Dr Who being called WOKE, I'd be more concerned of keeping the storyline on the right path.

Not sure if it's the Corona larger taking effect but I'm quite enjoying this tonight

I was going to say taped it, ha ha are we in the 80s, vhs or betamax?, nah hopefully it's on series link, I would watch it now to be honest, but seems I can't as the missis is hogging the tv, ( I thought the heating off would skuttle her off to to bed, eh Karn :D )

Watch it but the jury is out for my opinion , cannot get this new Doctor so far .

Comparisons will always be made with previous apperances as the main characters , for me Christopher Ecclestone and David Tennant have been the best in recent years , Matt Smith was ok too .

Just in case my brain was not engaged ptoperly and eyeballs blurred , was that a Transgender singer in the opening scenes .

No issue with that but another tick box exercise completed along with the Doctor appearing to be in a gay bar wearing a skirt .

Thought the Musical and Dancing Stage Show mid point was pointless , a time filler .

Third most watched show of the day behind the king’s Christmas speech and Strictly. So it must be doing something right.

To be fair, given the line up yesterday, there wasn't much competition.🤔
