Where did he say it? I've watched the 3 minute post match interview and there's no mention of it.

Also why are the club chopping down the full interviews to 3 minutes?

“It’s an important game but it’s not the be-all and end-all.
“I'd rather win promotion and get beat by Cardiff twice.”

I think in reality of course we'd all agree with him, but it's not the best way to endear himself with the fans is it? Especially with the way his tenure has started.

More pressing things to worry about, of course, but when I read the quote I did put my head in my hands a bit.

I know what he said but where did he actually say it, on his post match interview?

Let's have it right, the guy is a fckn idiot for saying it, and has left himself wide open if things go tits up up there. The very thought of losing to them is abhorrent, and he goes and says he basically couldn't give a shit. Dont anybody dress it up any other way either.

Makes no odds what he said, it won't affect how we play on the day. The only ones getting upset are the sensitive fans. Load of old bollocks.

He's obviously trying to take the pressure of his players, no more, no less.

File alongside 'whofucking cares'.

You are correct to a point, but why would he say it? On what planet does he think that's helping? Piling pressure on himself....lose badly and it could see him down the road.

It might make a bit more sense if we were top of the league and looking good for promotion. Otherwise it’s the kind of thing that Dave Jones used to say before we beat them which infuriated their fans.

It’s looking more likely that I’ll win the lottery than we lose to them twice and get promoted at the moment.

He isn't getting the boot anytime soon, no matter what the result against that lot will be.

That's what i said yesterday, the only thing which made me give a slight amount of f*ck, was that it sounded exactly like the type of thing the last couple of scum managers have said.

Sorry but I think their has been a complete overreaction to this statement
