I could understand dropping one on the grounds of rotation and fresh legs, but I’m surprised at dropping two. Does the fact that the pitch is being reused influence the choice, I’m not sure how it does?

I think it’s rotation more than being dropped. Stokes was always going to come back in when fit and they’ve been saying for a while they want to look at as many seamers is as many different conditions as they can.
