• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The Netherlands’ major tournament capitulation is always pretty spectacular.

Wales would've been playing Czech Republic in the quarters, if England f*ck this up, they'll never have a better chance

Every competitive game for the Dutch is a coinflip as to whether they will win

I honestly think the majority of welsh people need to start making peace with the idea of England winning this, don't let it eat you up for another 2 weeks, get a headstart and IF it happens then it wont feel half as bad

Wales are out, so I will be happy to see England win, if they can.

Netherlands wouldn't let our fans in for the game against Danmark, and now they are out. Seems like poetic justice to me.

We qualified. Again. And got the the knockout stages. Again. For the first 45 years of my life we didn’t do the former let alone the latter. I’m happy.

I imagine any Scot would bite their arm off for our tournament record. They can't get out of any group stage, even when they had a team full of top-quality players (Souness, Hansen, Dalglish, McStay, Gough, Aitken).

We achieved our primary goal of getting out of a tough group. Anything else after that would have been a bonus. 2016 was lighting in a bottle and extremely unlikely to happen again, even though we all hoped it would.

We were faced with a crap referee, a manager clearly out of his depth, losing one of our best players (who was replaced by a player who gifted the second goal to them) and were screwed over by a crap tournament set-up. We also weren't good enough on the day and were beaten by the better team.

I'll believe if they can get past Germany. Even a poor Germany team seem able to beat England in knockout games.

Their fans are moaning about Southgate playing it too safe, but they eased past a Czech team who just knocked the Dutch out. You'd hope that would shut the majority of them up, but I suspect these are not the kind of people who let evidence change their opinions on something.

Dont know where I'd derive more pleasure, them losing Tues or the final. To be so close only to get pumped by Belgium or France at Wembley would be priceless.
Think I'll go for Germans on pens Tuesday. The fallout will be a gift.

I'm the curse that keeps on giving, at least I'm not Steve Cooper, he's a curse to any footballing principles
