• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I generally like Southgate and this England team (Sterling's diving excepted), but Shearer is right. Putting two players on for a couple of minutes and then expecting them to take a penalty in a shoot-out is sh*t management. They haven't had any chance to get into the game and are then expected to deliver in probably the most high pressure moment of their careers.

Glad they lost because of what the fans and media would have been like, but feel sorry for the players.

Edit: Lampard says 'you can't over-analyse it now'. Good evidence why you're a shite manager Frank.

Lampard, Ferdinand, Shearer and Lineker, Jorginho should've seen red.. I don't hear them mention Sterling and his clear dive the other night, excuses and excuses.. anyone else laughing

Especially as it happened with 6 minutes to go and he subsequently missed his penalty! Hardly the impact that Sterling's dive had on the semi-final, but you wouldn't expect the tw*ts to register that.

He’d have seen red if he’d been wearing a Welsh shirt based on this tournament without doubt.

I'm laughing my a*se off, they're going to win the World Cup 2022 according to people on Twitter.. who did they beat in this tournament? Germany?

No, not laughing as I'm english. Not distraught either though, as we've had a cracking Euros and the team have showed that there's no place for the little Englander racism and general twattishness that we've seen across the whole of the UK lately. I didn't' expect us to get anywhere near as far, so although disappointing after coming so close I'm really proud with the effort and how they've handled themselves.

People on twitter tend to be twats and not representative. A clever Skip would have worked that out by now.

I'm talking about the blue tick brigade with millions of followers, they always come up short against superior opposition

I kind of agree, except that Johnno and Patel and all the other total wankers that have latched on would be going Tonto with little Englander racism and general twattishness if they'd won. Probably claiming it's because...Brexit. Oh and Johnno himself of course the massive arsehole.
