• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I dont know why, maybe its the atmosphere and the feeling like the pitch is too big for the players, but it feels like I'm watching a socceraid mactch

It’s been a good final for the neutrals
Spain have not made the most of how many times they have gotten in behind England down the flanks though
I agree. Great passing and lots of possession count for nothing if you don't put it in Monny's onion bag. I can see England spawning this on penalties.

Ah well that’s the bet down the swanee, unbelievable really. Apologies to you Raynor from your initial post you called the game right. Not in a month of Sundays, I thought full time would be 1-1

A common problem that we have.
The Spanish lasses are a bit better at passing it at tempo than our lot though lol

I think overall England has been the better side.
Nah, I wouldn’t say that. Spain are the dominant side, admittedly more so in the first half. I won’t knock the English women, but it reminds me of a premier league team v a league 2 team in the fa cup. They are just resilient.
