"Obviously I looked at Sunderland with an incredible history, you call a club like Queens Park Rangers and you hear that they don't really need money. People were very confused down at Swansea.'

A lot of questions about this.
1) when was his 'viewing' of the Swans and did he speak to anyone?
2) what was the confusion?
3) will Birch be attempting to get him to clarify the comment on behalf of the Americans, The Trust and individual shareholders.

Such an unqualified comment could damage the Swans and put off potential buyers or investors.

Yes very interesting but at the end of the day it was your chums that put this lot in charge.

Could just be some Danish guy bigging himself up to his new set of supporters

A failed roofing contractor could ring the club & say he wanted to buy it, doesn't mean he is any position to proceed or the club were interested in selling.

A bit meh for me, gives the feel like when you are looking to buy your first house you keep an eye on the market, view a few, ask the agents lots of questions, maybe make a few cheeky offers before you ‘do your deal’ & then tell everyone how your house is so much better than all the others you look at.

You make some very good points and posts about the Swans are always insightful and intelligent, but TBH when you make personal jibes and rants about ownership all I read is, 'Wah,wah, wah, wah    '

The OP posed open questions with many answer (including one suggestion from Pencoed).
Alternatives are
Sandgaard was told we aren't for sale.
Sandgaard was told we aren't for sale at the ridiculously knock down price he will pay for the Chalrton basket case (Charlton quoted as worth <£8 million Swans >£30 million)
Sandgaard is full of **it, he looked at '...Premier League to the top of League One' and plonked for the cheapest option from a group who have owned the club for a few months.
The unresolved share sale situation (2016) would complicate his purchase and ownership
He was only interested in 100% (or close) ownership and multiple shareholder model is outside his comprehension.
But hey ho ... 'Wah,wah, wah, wah    '

There's still a lot of in fighting going on at this basket case of a football club!!

This was just 3 days ago ...
