Has it returned to the club? We seem to be more proactive in the market, new owners are also trying to build bridges with the supporters.
Coupled with good performances from the team under Sheehan can we ask…
Are the good times returning?
Me personally, I’m cautiously optimistic for the coming season.

A lot of people are getting themselves worked up over the players we've signed so far. It's a fair reaction to bringing Burgess in, who is proven at this level and probably higher. I think we need to temper it a bit with the others though. Inoussa, Widell or Wales will find themselves playing at a level that they arguably haven't had to consistently face in their careers so far, and it's possible that they'll struggle to begin with. Maybe it'll be a step too far for one or more. Hopefully not, but we can't rule it out.

There is however definitely a feeling that has been missing for several years. That of the club and support all starting to pull in one direction, with those in charge having a definite plan for where we want to go and how to get there. That's the major difference for me at the moment.

I agree wholeheartedly with your first para - the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and we haven't had a chance to have a taste yet. I recall similar excitement in the summer we signed Yates, Patino and Pedersen. Let's wait and see.

I'm not entirely on board with your second para though. While I agree there are some green shoots we can point at, as we've seen with the recent debacle over the open night in Carmarthen, and the away buses fiasco, they're still getting some fairly basic stuff wrong. I suppose I'm a bit 'once bitten twice shy' because we've had so many meaningless corporate word salads in the last few years. I want to be able to get the bunting out, but I just can't allow myself to yet. I hope to be proved wrong by this time next year.

Widdel has got into the Swedish national squad and Wales has played Scottish Prem..they can’t be too far off Championship level

Some people probably need to take a chill pill but there’s definitely a feel good factor.
Now you tell me, I've already booked my hotel for the playoffs at Wembley 😂😂🏩. I need this pill ASAP. Or I'll lose my deposit.

Definitely still work to be done, and we've had more than enough reason to be suspicious in the past. Does feel a bit different now though.

I like this post alot and echoes my views on the situation.

The club means business and at the moment is getting on with it.
People are getting excited with things happening mainly because of the lack of it happening with the previous regime.

Far too early to get excited there have been too many false dawns since the K & L takeover, but for me its all about green shoots and take it from there.
Quite refreshing to see recruits signed earlier than normal and also in offloading the Ukraine striker and TJ, all be it at a slight financial loss. Hopefully the offloading of Yates is not too far away but until then I dare say its ok to dream about the likes of Jovic.

I’m a right miserable bastard, but I’m looking forward to the new season. Swans fans I talk to are smiling again when talking about the club, that’s been missing for ages.

There’s some right attention seekers on here aye.
Its looking good, get our signings done early, pre season is crucial for bedding new players in, the summer camp in Spain will be a perfect environment to get the hard yards done and new players up to speed, let's get all our ducks in a row for once.

In the past we’ve been guilty of buying last minute, then managers saying that said new signing needs ten games to bed in.
We need to be ready from the off, and hopefully we will be.

Absolutely, pre season is vital if you want to hit the ground running, new players bond and work on the coaching staff's formations, we signed 13 player's in the summer widow last season, all mostly last minute, and it showed.
