Thought Cooper was after an experienced centre half?

I think where we are at, any young players that are seen with potential to play at a decent level could be looked at, if only to add a bit of squad depth.

If he's signing he will surely be used as first team. We have lads in the academy like Brandon Cooper and Cameron Evans who can be back up, unless they are ear marked to start.

Don't see the point in wasting resources on players coming in as squad fillers personally. We need replacements for the first team players who are off.

Yeah good point, but as we have Cabango, Rodon and Guehi here as our 3 defenders I'm sure Zouma will be a squad player rather than a starter, but Rodon may move on.

Cool, always expect Romanian players to be tricky, slightly built midfielders but that just might be me.

Anyone giving that opinion is fine by me.
I think of Ploiesti as a bit like Swansea / Port Talbot - ex-industrial, metro-chemical centre and quite poor / run down.

TBH I hope thins isn't the standard we are being forced to look at.
30 odd games in 3 seasons almost none in the one just gone.
Although liked I can't see him moving away from the area h's settled in England.
