Thought Cooper was after an experienced centre half?

I think where we are at, any young players that are seen with potential to play at a decent level could be looked at, if only to add a bit of squad depth.

If he's signing he will surely be used as first team. We have lads in the academy like Brandon Cooper and Cameron Evans who can be back up, unless they are ear marked to start.

Don't see the point in wasting resources on players coming in as squad fillers personally. We need replacements for the first team players who are off.

Yeah good point, but as we have Cabango, Rodon and Guehi here as our 3 defenders I'm sure Zouma will be a squad player rather than a starter, but Rodon may move on.

Has Guehi been confirmed as staying then?

I saw a quote from Cooper saying Guehi is still here with us can't find it now but I definitely read it.

I'm assuming Rodon will have to be sold if there is truth to the rumours of top flight interest.

Leaves us with Cabango, Guehi, Cooper and Cam Evans. There has to be some experience in with them.

I was told by a very good sauce several months ago that we’ve already signed a young Romanian lad.

CB or plays somewhere else on the pitch Daz?

I thought the talk of signing a Romania youth was for the academy?
I'd be OK with that but the next Hagi or Petrescu making their name wth us.
When we played in Pleosti I chatted with. minibus driver who told me he's been to Wales ... Cardiff to watch Romania.
I asked him what he thought of Cardiff.
'Shi8hole' he relied.
We've been friends ever since :-)

I have spent many weeks working in Ploiesti and that is very much a case of the pot and kettle scenario.

James Chester a freebie, could be a decent ish option for us depending on the wage.

Anyone giving that opinion is fine by me.
I think of Ploiesti as a bit like Swansea / Port Talbot - ex-industrial, metro-chemical centre and quite poor / run down.
(Grigore is from Câmpina - so some pretty bits

Kieron Freeman

TBH I hope thins isn't the standard we are being forced to look at.
30 odd games in 3 seasons almost none in the one just gone.
Although liked I can't see him moving away from the area h's settled in England.
